Abouts
Established in 2016, the You & Me Foundation was born out of the vision of Dalip Kumar, a passionate social worker and entrepreneur known affectionately as “Chequie bhai.” Inspired by a deep-rooted desire to give back to society, Dalip Kumar founded the foundation with the aim of providing essential services to the underprivileged and marginalized.
Recognizing the pressing needs of the community, Dalip Kumar and his team embarked on a journey to create a platform that could make a tangible difference in the lives of those in need. With unwavering dedication and compassion, the You & Me Foundation has since become a beacon of hope, offering vital support to countless individuals.
Our Vision
The You & Me Foundation envisions a society where no one goes hungry, and every individual has the opportunity to reach their full potential. To achieve this ambitious goal, the foundation has committed to providing free meals (Roti Bank) to underprivileged children and migrant laborers on a daily basis. This initiative aims to address the immediate needs of these vulnerable populations, ensuring that they have access to nutritious food and can focus on other essential aspects of their lives.
Beyond the provision of meals, the foundation aspires to create a more equitable and just society by empowering individuals through education and skill development. In the long term, the You & Me Foundation plans to establish a state-of-the-art videography, photography, and film institute specifically for underprivileged youth. This institute will provide these young people with the necessary training and resources to pursue careers in the creative industries, enabling them to become self-employed and contribute meaningfully to society.
By investing in the education and empowerment of the underprivileged, the You & Me Foundation seeks to break the cycle of poverty and create a more inclusive and equitable future for all.
